In March, our whole school recently enjoyed an incredible two-day, one-night camp at Kai Iwi Lakes, with wonderful support from our parents. We slept in tents, adding to the adventure, and made the most of the stunning surroundings. The seniors had the exciting experience of learning how to sail, while the juniors took part in stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and essential water safety sessions. Our amazing school cook, Kelly, along with our ever-helpful office superstar, Debbie, kept everyone well-fed and ensured everything ran smoothly. Team games brought laughter and competition, and our evening challenge had groups racing to collect a full set of numbered tags as quickly as possible. Many of the children took on the impressive 8km walk around Lake Taharoa, pushing themselves and enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Camp was an absolute success, creating memories and experiences that will stay with us all.
