Our school gathers for assembly twice a week, on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons. Whānau are warmly invited to join us for our Friday assembly, which begins at 1:50pm. These gatherings are a special time to come together as a school community, focusing on our KAURI values—Kindness, Accountability, Unity, Respect, and Integrity. Each week, we celebrate students who have excelled, shown effort academically and those who have demonstrated our values in both the classroom and playground. Assemblies also provide a space to share school-wide news and upcoming events. Once a term, we hold a special whānau assembly followed by a celebration of events such as Matariki, the triathlon, speech competitions or cross-country, along with kai to enjoy together.
