What a Day!

After a blustery, icy-cold day beforehand, we were slightly worried we might end up with children shaped like ice blocks! Thankfully the wind settled, and although there was still a chill in the air, our students showed tremendous spirit and enthusiasm.

It has been fantastic to see the growth in swimming confidence across the school this year. Every child participated, completing either full or half-length laps with determination and pride. Our youngest swimmers enjoyed modified events using pool noodles, kickboards, and treasure retrieval, while our older students took part in the traditional races.

The determination on their faces said it all — they were having fun, but they were also there to give it their very best! A huge congratulations to all our competitors for their effort, courage, and sportsmanship. What a great day of achievement in the pool!
